  Welcome to my blog. I am Novia, a retired educator, and I have always been interested in writing on various topics. The time finally feels right. With the availability of knowledge and information, the abundance of writing tools on the internet, and more time on my hands, it makes this the perfect moment to begin blogging. In my 38 years of teaching, I have taught thousands of students. I truly enjoyed teaching, and it has been a very fulfilling experience—one where I could share knowledge while having fun doing so. Blogging will definitely give me further opportunities to have fun while continuing to share with others. 

  I have come to the realization that we can no longer afford to be singularly focused. Now, more than ever, our lives are shaped by a variety of forces that work together to influence the quality of our existence. For this reason, this blog will explore a wide range of issues that connect and overlap to help us better understand the world we live in. We must wake from our slumber and understand that what we put into life is what we will get out. Our awareness of matters such as health, politics, and the environment is necessary if we are to make wise choices and take meaningful action in preserving not just our planet, but our home. Too many people around the world have trusted politicians, religious leaders, environmentalists, and health officials to act in their best interests—only to discover, often too late, that their welfare was not a priority.

  So with all these thoughts in mind, I launch this blog. I do so with the hope that you enjoy your visit, find the content varied, useful, and interesting—and that you check back from time to time for more.
